Allisa Gabriel Captures

About me!

Who is Allisa Jaide...

Hi everyone <3

My love for photography comes from wanting to capture meaningful moments and have something tangible to look back on. I’ve been on and off with photography since my freshman year of high school, and now, almost eight years later, my passion for being behind the camera continues to grow every day.

Since starting college, I’ve become the go-to photographer for my family and friends, but I never pursued it too seriously. I originally created this website during COVID, but it ended up on the back burner. With this rebrand, I’m excited to branch out, meet new people, and capture moments beyond just those closest to me.

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out. I’m looking forward to connecting and working with you!

More about me outside of photography:

I'm currently a senior at Seattle University, graduating this June, receiving my B.A. in Humanities for Teaching, specializing in Elementary Education

(Fun fact: I will be a first-generation graduate!)

As someone born and raised in Washington, I've always loved it here; it'll forever be home!

At Seattle U, thanks to the United Filipino Club #UFC, I've found a close-knit group of friends who've quickly become family over the years. Even though I’ve found my “home away from home” at school, my family and hometown friends will always be my core. My parents are my biggest supporters in everything I do, and my (not so little) brother is my WHY!

In my free time, you’ll probably find me at the gym, trying new matcha spots, thrifting, geeking out over music, or taking pictures (duh). I love all things Sanrio—my favorite color is purple, my favorite food is pasta, and my go-to snack is fruit… or a sweet treat? (depending on the mood tbh)

At the end of the day, I really value my family and friends. Sometimes, photos and videos are the only way we can go back and relive certain moments, which is why that makes them so special. I’d love to be a part of capturing those memories for you—moments you’ll be able to look back on for a lifetime!

#JAYSTRONG

To honor my Uncle, Jaymorsan Subia—truly one of the strongest people I’ve ever known. As we prepared to lay him to rest, we found ourselves going through photos, remembering and celebrating the life he lived.

Sometimes it might seem like I’m always behind a camera instead of fully in the moment, but moments like this remind me why I do it. These photos and videos become something we can hold onto—memories that keep the people we love close, even after they’re gone.
